Drive Check is a privately owned and operated business based in South East Queensland. Drive Check services the Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gympie areas.

 

Drive Check works specifically with Geriatricians, Doctors and other Health Professionals in assessing a senior patients driving competence. Drive Check does not replace the need for Occupational Therapists or other health services.

 

Drive Check offers an alternative option for when Health Practitioners need to know how their elderly patients are performing on the road so that they can make a fully informed decision. Patients are assessed by our highly experienced and trusted driving assessor.

Brian Everitt Fitness To Drive Assessor

With more than 35 years in the industry, Brian is an RACQ approved driving assessor and has extensive knowledge and experience in the driver education and driver training field.

 

Brian has been actively involved in providing practical driving assessments for senior drivers since 2000, including assessments for medical clearance, refresher lessons, coaching and rehabilitation programs, and is the owner/manager of Drive Check.

 

Brian has presented papers to Queensland road safety conferences and forums on driver education programs and practical research results for senior driver education.

 

Additionally, Brian designs, tailors and delivers post-licence defensive driver education and training refresher programs and workshops for individuals, commercial drivers, and government agencies throughout Australia and the Pacific region. LEARN MORE
